21 years old Edmonton triathlete Paula Findley won the inaugural ITU World Championship series London race. This is Paula's first WCS race and she wow'ed the crowd with a break-even performance. Paula's previous highest finish was 4th at the ultra-competitive Hy-Vee ITU World Cup in Des Moine where the largest prize money in ITU races are up for grab. Paula was the triple-crowned Canadian champion in 2008 winning the Junior elite, U23. and Elite national title at Kelowna.
Kronos alum Lisa Mensink finished 19th with a fast 36.29 10K run time and she's currently 3rd in the ITU WCS bike prem ranking.
Canadian Kathy Tremblay and Kirsten Sweetland who finished 38th and 45th respectively in the women race.
